Chislehurst lies to the south east of London on the north-west Kent border.
The Chislehurst Society was formed in 1934 as a pressure group to obtain better facilities for the many new families arriving here from London as new houses were being built to the north and west of the village. It was converted into a residents' association after the War, and became a registered charity in 1989.
We work to maintain and improve Chislehurst for its residents and visitors. We have no paid staff; all our work is done by volunteers. We welcome new members whether they live in Chislehurst or not, and are always in need of more volunteers. Please let us have any comments on the contents of this site.
