Arthur Battle: Edwardian Chislehurst: Memories of the Village Baker (180 pages) 1988. We may be able to find local copies. You can also occasionally find copies for sale via abebooks. At the time of writing (August 2009) there are 5 copies available in the UK. They vary in asking price from £9 to £15.

History of Chislehurst.
A.E.Webb's famous history of the village, orginally published in 1899. A Centenary edition was published in 1999 for £30
. Both editions are out of print. You can occasionally find copies for sale via abebooks. At the time of writing (August 2009), there are three of the first edition available (from £150 to £275 each), and one copy of the centenary edition at £175.
