2008 saw the 18th Award since they were introduced. Prizes were awarded at a very well attended show on 5 June 2008, at Babington House School. The quality of the entries this year was excellent. London Open House |
We arrange for a number of our buildings to be open to the public during this annual event. In 2009 the event will take place on the weekend of 19th and 20th September, and will be part of the Chislehurst Festival. |
Chislehurst Festival |
We are in the final stages of planning and communicating the first Chislehurst Festival in September 2009. |
| Chislehurst Society social evenings | We hold two buffet dinners a year, in spring and autumn. They are informal in style, with a guest speaker. There is plenty to eat, and the opportunity to meet and talk to fellow Society members. The next dinner will be on October 1st 2009. Andrew Saint, General Editor of The Survey of London will talk about William Willett's building work in Chislehurst and elsewhere. |
