Bromley Council Public Meetings
In November Bromley Council will be holding its annual public meetings to talk and listen to those who live and work in the borough as they set the budget for 2012-13.
With more than £30 million to be cut from the Council's budget over the next three years, there are some tough choices to be made and they state that they want to hear as many views as possible about where the money should be spent. So, they are encouraging as many people as possible to give their views on decisions about their services.
The Chislehurst Society will be making arrangements for representatives to attend.
The meetings are as follows:
Daytime meeting – 11 am – 12.30pm
Tuesday, 8 November Civic Centre, BR1 3UH
Evening meeting – all from 7.30 – 9pm
Thursday, 17 November Orpington Methodist Church, BR6 9JH
Wednesday, 23 November Civic Centre, BR1 3UH
Monday, 28 November Citygate Church, Beckenham, BR3 1AA
The latest facts and figures about the 2011-12 budget and relevant information will be posted on www.bromley.gov.uk <http://www.bromley.gov.uk/> a week before themeeting.
All venues provide access for people with disabilities and a hearing loop. Tea and coffee will be served after the meetings.
