MAURICE BLIGHT
Society member and Clifford Avenue road steward, Maurice Blight, sadly passed away last November. His daughter, Sue Gurney, who met many Society members at Maurice’s funeral, has asked the committee to pass on this message, which we are happy to do:
“On behalf of dad’s family I write to thank you for your overwhelming support at his funeral. It was heart warming, on what could have been such a sad occasion, to meet up with neighbours and friends, old and new. For me it was especially moving that some of you remembered my mother Lily. If anyone feels able to commit their memories in words I would love to hear from you.
