The Society now has its own officesMethodist Church

From 4 January 2010 we now have our own offices at the Chislehurst Methodist Church in Prince Imperial Road. Regular access is restricted to members of our Executive Committee, but we are planning to have open sessions where members are able to consult with members of the Committee. The Church (and the Manse) has changed since this photographs was taken, but you can see our offices at the rear of the church - the upstairs room.

Launch of the Friends of the Rec - March 10

The new Friends group will hold its inaugural meeting on March 10 at Red Hill School. Please come along to hear about the plans that the group has to improve the Recreation Ground, and an update on its plans to relocate the children's play area. Click here for more.

We were commended for the Autumn edition of the Chislehurst Report, which contained the first edition of The Mix, a student magazine written and designed entirely by Chislehurst students. Click here for more.

New Friends Group for the Recreation Ground

A group of residents have established a Friends Group for the Chislehurst and Walden Recreation Ground. Click here for details of its attempt to get the Scout Hut located in a better position for everyone concerned. The Chislehurst Society is helping financially with a particular interest in re-siting the children's play area. If you use the Recreation ground, we urge you to consider becoming a Friend to help create an enduring location for the beneift of all residents.

Chislehurst Road - works on the railway bridge
