New members of the Executive Committee
Welcome to our two new Executive Committee members, Derek Nash and Liz Abels.
Liz Abels was raised in Cape Town and worked in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Johannesburg before coming to live in Chislehurst, where the family has been resident for 35 years. She has been interested and involved in school, local and church affairs whilst continuing to practice as a qualified Homeopath. Her interest is in holistic health and integrated medical care. She is also a keen tennis player. Liz will lead for the Society on making and maintaining our links with Chislehurst's many different communities.
Derek Nash has lived in Chislehurst since 1975, and lives in the town centre. He is a trained surveyor and architect and has worked most recently at London Borough of Greenwich. Derek and his wife, Liz, have been members of the Chislehurst Town Centre Management Group since its inception. Derek will join our traffic and transport committee, and will continue to take an interest in town centre matters.
