Heritage Lottery Update 6 - map restored

There will be a talk at Chislehurst Library on the evening of 24 September, at 7.30pm about the history of the Camden Park indenture and map.

The 1893 map has been purchased and restored by the Chislehurst Society, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is an important document showing not only the Camden Park estate, but much of the area surrounding it. The map will be on display throughout the evening.

Joanna Friel, who has led the project for the Society, will explain its significance, and tell the story behind the map. You can read about the restoration here...

The meeting is in the upstairs room at the library. Access is by way of stairs only. If you wish to attend but are concerned about access, please call us on 020 8467 0900.
